Bachpan is a play school in Mahbubnagar, the first franchisee of the Delhi based play school in the composite state of Andhra Pradesh was founded in the year 2005. The Delhi based play school started their journey from Mahbubnagar before conquering many territories. Today it boasts of about 1200 + franchisees across the country & Nepal.
Bachpan Mahbubnagar was founded by A. Prafulla Chandra, a post graduate in Chemistry &a former bank officer under the guidance of (Late)Sri. R. Sri Sailam, Retd.Principal of Govt. Degree College. Sri. Sri Sailam was fondly called as Teacher of Teachers and was known for his discipline & English classes. Both of them were running TakshaShila Junior College &TakshaShila Degree College when the idea of starting a school was mooted. Thus came into being Bachpan..a play school. In fact it was the first play school in the town of Mahbubnagar. With their rich experience and passion the school has risen to great heights and is in fact the first school of choice for the parents to send their kids in Pre-primary sections. They were joined by Smt. Saraswathi a post graduate in English who is also popular for her English classes and has nurtured many a student.
Presently the school is administered by A. Prafulla Chandra, who has more than two decades of experience in education, Dr.Agur Indira, a renowned Radiologist who is passionate about education, Smt. Saraswathi, with more than three decades of experience in education, Sri. Dinakar a businessman with a deep understanding of pre-primary education and Mrs.Haritha an engineering graduate with a decade of experience in Play school education.
